OUR APPROACH

We believe that what's good for the most marginalized communities is good for us all.

Our approach offers real-world insights, strategies and frameworks to help catalyze meaningful change within your organization by unapologetically centering and elevating BIPOC professionals. We offer:

Strategy

Our proven frameworks help leaders effectively navigate the nuances of intersectional identities.

The best part is, it’s an exploratory, co-creative, learning experience that takes the pressure off of leaders to always “get it right.”

Mindset

When management brings a compassionate, equitable and inclusive approach to their leadership practices, it results in high-trust relationships among all team members.

We support you in connecting with the confidence, courage and vulnerability needed to “go there” in your leadership.

Integration

The most sustainable change is incremental and values progress over perfection.

We believe incremental learning that supports incremental change, creates incremental growth that compounds into transformation.

Support

The ongoing support we offer helps leaders within your organization integrate new frameworks, practices and behaviors that will eliminate inequality and challenge harmful biases and status quos.

For continued and personalized support, we invite companies to sponsor coaching for BIPOC women and femme professionals.

Meet the Founder

Nadia De Ala is a leadership negotiation coach, executive coach, speaker and facilitator on a mission to close the intersectional pay and leadership gap.

She has dedicated her practice to supporting career women of color and educating organizations committed to affirming the full humanity of their employees.

She’s a self-described “ex-techie” who often felt the isolating impact of being the only woman and/or person of color within teams and entire organizations. As a leader and a mentor, she’s leveraged her experiences, perspective, and expertise to equip professionals with inclusive leadership strategies and empower BIPOC women and femmes with guidance to thrive in the workplace.

Nadia has partnered with leaders at companies like Google, Airbnb, Amazon, Meta, General Assembly, Gusto and others to create psychologically safe spaces for themselves, BIPOC, and women that drive positive organizational change. The dynamic workshops she and the Real You Leadership team facilitate provide corporations with real-world tools to navigate the complex intersectional identities and perspectives within teams.

She’s also the creator of the Real You Leadership coaching framework and Signature workshops. She fosters a community experience designed to support women and femmes of color in tech with the tools to become the highly compensated, impactful leaders they were always meant to be.

Her real coaching and leadership style empowers these women to confidently and intuitively navigate the corporate world, shatter the limitations, and transform their careers - all without shrinking, sacrificing or selling out.

Nadia is on a mission to inspire professional women and femmes of color to fearlessly live a life in alignment with their highest values, vision and purpose so they can show up as the truest versions of themselves, no matter what rooms they are in.
