✨Unapologetically Recognize Your Worth & Negotiate with Confidence✨
Negotiation Webinar
Description:
Watch this webinar if asking for what you deserve and need in business scares you, and you’ve ever had any of these thoughts in the back of your mind:
“I don’t want them to think I’m greedy if I ask for more...”
“I just want to get my foot through the door and prove myself first...”
“I don’t think I have the leverage to ask for more because I was laid off...”
“If I say what I really think, they'll retaliate and say I’m being difficult...”
In this webinar, we’ll get real about the mindsets that typically stop first-gen and women of color from self-advocating, speaking up, and claiming the pay, positions, and relationships that they deserve.
Takeaways:
- You’ll identify and manage the self-critical and self-sabotaging voices that typically stop women of color from negotiating well or negotiating at all
- Ways you can apply negotiation into your daily life, outside of interviewing and performance reviews
- Immediate steps you can take to get clear on your compensation goals, organize what to say at the negotiation table and be confident in your value
- A list of things you should avoid saying in your negotiation conversations (and life) and things you should start saying TODAY

Let’s connect 1-on-1 !
But here’s what I really want to talk about in my practice to stay intentional and values aligned: there is so much grief in expansion, elevation, and abundance.
I want to normalize how hard the journey is, to follow your biggest dreams, to dare to see what’s beyond your comfort zone every day, and have the nerve to prove even your deepest inner haters and inner critic wrong (more or less external naysayers in your life!).
I want to normalize that reaching the peaks doesn't come without the cold, shadowy, and stormy valleys.
I want to normalize that my work’s greatest achievements don't come without holding and caring for my deep anxiety, anger, sadness, fear of the unknown, traumas and second-guessing myself -- “Am I doing the right thing?” or “Will this just be a waste of time?” or “What if I fail?”.
I want to challenge you a little bit to step out of your comfort zone.
Do you believe there’s enough out there (enough money, enough inspiration, enough peace, enough love, etc.) for you to have your share?
If you keep believing that there isn't enough for you, there will never be enough.
This life, although short, is truly full of infinite possibilities. We make on average 30,000 micro-decisions a day.
...how many of your decisions create new ways of thinking and new possibilities in your daily life?
Choose to believe there is enough in this universe for you.
Where you see me now, is nothing like where I started.
I haven’t always been able to claim ALL of me.
Jun 2017: I listened to my heart, took a BIG ass “risk”, saved a bunch of money, and ditched my 6-figure tech sales role without another job lined up. At this point, I was burnt out on every level mentally, physically, and emotionally. The only goal was to create space to heal, without any idea what was next.
Jul 2017: Hired my first life coach, started training for my coaching certification with CTI, and birthed my coaching business baby, Nadia De Ala Coaching. It took me a total of 14 months of training to become certified and I was figuring out what my niche would be, who I wanted to focus on serving in this work.
Take a deep breath for me and try to think about where you’re at right now.
Think about the changes you’re experiencing, the baby steps you’ve been taking towards the next day, task, or goal.
How do you feel about the movement in your life?
We’re in the last stretch of the year and it is infamous for sneaking up on all of us.
Work tends to pick up with year-end deadlines approaching, our loved ones seem to want more of our time, and the days just feel like they’re getting shorter and shorter as we try to do it all.
But here’s one thing I want you to know… you can’t be everything to everyone. Neglecting your needs is a fast track to burnout, exhaustion, and disappointment. That way of living is not the type of environment you need to grow and flourish, so let’s make some changes.
Stop allowing other people (including your peers or stakeholders at work) to “humble” you by saying things like:
🙄 “You’re coming off as too bold.”
🙄 “You don’t want to make asking for more part of your brand here.”
🙄 “I’ve had 15 years experience over you and worked hard to get here. Your time will come,”
Too often, we relinquish all autonomy and decision-making to our jobs.
We let go of our ability to say "no" because we experience fear of retaliation, rejection, discomfort, awkwardness, or being disliked.
And those are very relatable and logical fears that we experience as WOCs in the workplace. It's okay to experience that fear and STILL set the boundary anyway.
Hey, I want to debunk a particular myth I hear in regards to leadership and keep it real
There is no book, article, video, or magic potion you can take to make you into the “perfect” leader.
